Owner and registered massage therapist (RMT) practitioner at MyoSports Therapy.  Marjorie graduated from West Coast Collage of Massage Therapy 3000 credit hour program in 2008. She moved from her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba after graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Applied Health degree. 

 

Her background in sports studies lead her to becoming a registered massage therapist. Her therapeutic approach to treatment focuses on the physical health and emotional support throughout the healing process. She incorporates a variety of modalities in her treatments to try and achieve both patient and her therapeutic goals. Modalities such as and not limited to myofascial release, trigger point release, Swedish techniques, deep tissue, sports massage, joint mobilization, passive stretching, remedial exercises, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization , hydrotherapy, and many more.  She has found success in treating headaches, TMJ/TMD (jaw pain), adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), chronic pain, postural issues, upper & lower back pain, prenatal and postnatal massage, limited range of motion, MVA's/Whiplash, and sport related injuries.

 

When she's not travelling the world with her husband. Marjorie enjoys being outdoors and being physically active. She's an avid runner, practices yoga, and loves exploring local mountains by hiking. She looks forward to helping you.

Brooke MCDONALD

Registered Massage Therapist

Brooke has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2014. Coupled with his love of sports and commitment to helping others, Brooke decided to leave his previous work in Sales & Trades to start a career in Massage Therapy. He is passionate about working with clients to improve their health.

 

Brooke's areas of interest include headache management, stress reduction, pain management for low back, and active stretching to relieve tight muscles from everyday use or injuries from overuse. At the end of the day, he finds such fulfillment in knowing he has helped make his clients feel better.

 

In Brooke's spare time, he enjoys cycling, hiking, kickboxing, competing in triathlons, and spending quality time with his two sons.
